The Orchard Theatre, Dartford have just announced that Eastender's star, Steve McFadden will be playing the villainous Captain Hook in this years swashbuckling pantomime, Peter Pan.
Peter Pan, adapted from the original story by J M Barrie, will be running from Saturday 14th December 2019 - Sunday 5th January 2020.
Joining McFadden will be Andy Ford, as the hilarious shipmate, Mr Smee, reuniting the pair after having performed together to critical acclaim back in 2017 at The Theatre Royal in Plymouth. Ford is considered to be one of pantomimes most successful comedians, receiving rave - reviews wherever he performs.
Peter Pan is produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world's biggest pantomime producer and Managing Director, Michael Harrison said,
"Steve is a first-class actor and we are absolutely delighted that he'll be leading the cast of our Dartford pantomime alongside the brilliantly funny Andy Ford as Smee. We're already planning plenty of surprises and a ship-load of family friendly fun for everyone to enjoy".
Steve McFadden added,
